I’m Ernest, Ernie for friends! I’m a 5-year-old American Chihuahua who just arrived from a high kill pound in New Jersey (strictly due to overcrowding), so I was offered a ride up north to beautiful Canada.

I lost my owner to old age and ended up at the local pound where I was pulled out by a wonderful lady who didn’t want to leave me there.

I’m in a foster home, still a little anxious from all these changes, but very well-behaved. I’m presently with a Chihuahua buddy, and it’s going well. I’m also ok with the house cat. I let her know who’s boss, and we’re good
