I’m Jake, I’ll be two in November and I’m a Boston Terrier mix. I’m absolutely beautiful and super sweet.

I was living with babies and kids, an old dog and a cat. I’m an all around super friendly dude.

I can stay alone while you’re gone, I’m not a barker and generally a mellow dog. Info love to tear toys apart, but I don’t touch your stuff. That a plus!!

I’m Mia Huahua, you guessed right! I’m a Chihuahua. I’m a girl, 6 years old, and about 6 lbs.

I’m getting a dental as my mouth is a disaster, so if you’re looking to adopt me, you’ll need to brush whatever teeth I have left so my mouth never gets this bad again.

I’m very sweet, get along with other dogs, can stay alone and pee pad trained.

I would be great pretty much with anyone. Whether you’re a family or a single senior, I will be happy to cuddle with you.

I’m Bali, a 7 year old male Chihuahua/Whippet mix and by no fault of mine, I need a new home as Mom was placed in a geriatric hospital.

I’m very sweet, a little lost but adjusting well. I’m good with the other dogs here, so no worries there.

Maxi Chi

I’m Max Chi, and you guessed it! I’m a Chihuahua and I’m three years old.

As many little dogs, I have luxation of the patella (very mild), and being a CKC stud, I’m longer good for reproduction and was sent to Sophie’s Dog Adoption, as the vet refused to euthanize me.

Sophie’s having me neutered soon, and I’m looking for a nice home where I’ll be loved for who I am, and not for the money I can make you.

I’m very skittish, never been outside and not really socialized, so a patient person/couple is what I need. I’m not sure if I’d be a fan of children, that would have to come with time.

I’ve been named Andie. You see, I was “found” in somebody’s yard as a stray, but nobody seems to be looking for me.

I was super neglected, but because of my hair, it’s been determined I’m most likely a Shih Tzu/Poodle mix.

I’m about 3 years old, a female and may have been used as a reproduction mom.

Now that I’m groomed, I’m feeling much better, enjoying the outdoors as well as being in a home. I think I’d do good with kids, I’m ok with other dogs and could probably learn to live with a cat.

I’m looking for someone to love me, but also someone who will learn, or pay someone, to groom me regularly. I don’t ever want that “rug” on my back.

I’ve been named Buddy Roamer, and here’s my story:

One morning early summer, I appeared on a farm outside of Montreal. It was a little odd that I wandered there during the night, but … Here I was, roaming around the property.

Posters were put up, notices on FB, vets were advised. No microchip. So after “moving season” and nobody claiming me, I ended up with Sophie’s Dog Adoption.

I’m about 7-8 months old and of possible Catahoula/Aussie mix. I presently weigh 60 lbs, so I will need an active family as I’m no couch potato!

If you’re looking for a teenage pup and want to go hiking, I’m the perfect partner! Be ready to exercise me so I don’t get restless while you’re out working. I want to be your forever partner!

I’m Barnaby, a 6 yr old Shih Tzu mix from Virginia.

I just arrived from a high kill pound, and I’m loving my new freedom.

I’ll be getting neutered soon, but I’m already friendly with all other dogs. Not at all dominant.

I’d probably be ok with well behaved kids, as I seem to like everybody I meet. I’m not a barker, so if you structure me well, I could probably live in an apartment.

Hello good folks of Canada! I’m DJ, a senior Yorkshire terrier mix who ended up at a high kill pound in Virginia.

While on a visit, a wonderful lady decided to bring me back to her homeland to give me a chance at life. My ages is estimated at about 11, but I may even be a little older.

That being said, I’m looking for a compassionate person to adopt me and give me a quiet home for my old days.

I’m a little stiff, arthritis, but other than that still very healthy. My eyes are not the greatest, but we really use our nose more that our eyes, so I’m totally fine.

Stairs, not a fan, so one story house or apartment with an elevator would be perfect.

I was named Prudence, yet used for reproduction all my life.

I’m a 9 year old, long haired Chihuahua who had many beautiful puppies before being retired. Unfortunately, these people who forced me to breed, also debarked me so nobody would hear me bark.

I’m very nervous, but calm and gentle. I’m being fostered where there are children, and I’m ok with them.

I’m very quiet, obviously, so ideal for apartment living. I’m pee pad trained, but also go outside. Leash walking needs some practice, but generally I’m a sweet girl willing to learn.

Retired doesn’t mean “old”, of have several good years in front of me. I may be the gal for you!

Ol’Barney

I’m Ol’Barney, a 10 year old Boston/Shih Tzu mix. I’m a big boy, weighing in at about 30 lbs.

Unfortunately I’ve had food allergies all my life, which caused major ear inflammation and as a result of never being treated, my ears are swollen, lumpy and completely closed up. I may even be deaf. I also carry my head to the side, again due to my untreated ear issues.

I’ll be going to the vet for the first time, where not only I’ll get neutered but we’ll see about my ears. Unfortunately, I don’t think they’ll get better. We just got to keep me in a good diet. No chicken, no grain.

I’m super sweet, good with other dogs, lived with a child and generally a good dog. Leash walking is a bit challenging as I was never taught and can get reactive towards other dogs.

I’m looking for a home for my last gre years where I’ll be getting what I need as I age. I’ll be your best friend, if you’ll have me!

My name is Charlene and I’m a 5 month old Yorkshire mix. I came with the label “Morkie”, but it’s obvious to the trained eye that there’s no Maltese in my DNA!

I’m teething, so be ready if you’re looking to adopt me. I’m being crate trained for your convenience and doing good.

At my age, I don’t think I’m good for seniors, but anyone else would be good for me. Kids, no kids, single, couple, family! As long as you know how to raise me well, I’ll be a terrific little dog.

I’m Hokulani and I’m a 3 year old from Hawaii. My mix is a bit of a guess…

I was at a high kill shelter so lucky for me, I was flown to Canada for a chance at a true home.

I’m very calm when people come to the door,  no barking.

I’m very gentle when taking food from the hand, I have zero food/treat aggression.

I can be left alone without getting myself in trouble. I walk well on the leash but may need to be reminded. I’m very playful, but when playing with other dogs I can get a bit rough. 

When meeting dogs I do get excited & pull and I get a little mouthy when playing with people, but stop when I hear “hey”.

In general I’m a really good girl. I’m rambunctious out on the yard, but very chill in the house.
