Tiny Too

I’m Tiny, a sweet, handsome, 75lbs German Shepherd.

I’m 3 years old and looking for a home due to many moves for my family and me.

I was born in Nova Scotia, then lived in Florida until about 4 months ago when we all moved to Montreal.

You see, I grew up in a very rural area, where I had access to a yard whenever I felt like it. And I do love the outdoors, but now I’m living in an apartment building and it’s just not ideal.

I’m very well behaved, great with kids, wonderful with dogs, but I live with a “mean” cat so I stay away from him.

I could use some leash training as I pull a little, but otherwise walk very well.

I’m Bindi, a 10 year old Australian Shepherd mix, most likely with border collie. I’m a female and weigh about 50 lbs.

Despite my age, I’m super healthy, active and full of life. I’m actually looking for a very active family or person.

I’m an absolute perfect dog, except for one issue, I don’t like being alone. So I’m looking for someone who not only is home, but willing to work with me on this separation anxiety. Sophie’s Dog Adoption will work with you during your two week trial with me, as it’s definitely something that can be addressed.

I’ve had at least 3 previous homes, which explains my fear of being abandoned.

Buster

I’m a handsome 9 month old boy named Buster, and my siblings and I were brought to Isla Animal Rescue in Mexico when we were only 3 weeks old. 

While growing up in the rescue, we had the best time playing together in the Oasis. ðŸ’•

My sisters, Bianca and Birdie (Dee), came to Canada at the beginning of summer and have both found their loving forever homes. Now, it’s finally my turn! 

I recently arrived and everything about me has made people love me even more.

I’m funny, goofy, playful, and always happy. I have a soft and gentle soul. I get along well with other dogs, although I’m still trying to convince the resident cat that we should be best friends. ðŸ˜¹

I’m curious and know how to enjoy life. Every morning is a new adventure for me — I’m always looking for the next thing to explore, play with, or chew! 

Because of this, his future human will need to have a little patience, understanding, and a good sense of humor. A missing shoe or a meal that mysteriously disappears may occasionally be part of life with me.

I’m eager to learn, very food motivated, loyal, curious, very smart, a master cuddler and ready to explore this big new world.

I currently weigh around 17 kg (37 lbs), and might get a little bigger.

I’m Paco Mork, a sweet and gentle 7 year old Yorkshire/Maltese.

I’m looking for a new home due to no fault of mine, just another landlord making his own rules.

I’m super sweet, a little shy at first, but well behaved in general.  I’m not yet neutered (due to lack of space), so I’m marking my territory in the foster home as there are other dogs, but that will be resolved once neutered and in a stable home.

I’m Charlotte Huahua, a beautiful, but very shy, little 3 year old Chihuahua. I’m about 4 lbs, so tiny enough!

I was also used for breeding, so I’m very shy. I’ll need time to understand you actual want to cuddle with me.

I would see myself in a quiet home, so far I haven’t been barky so I could probably go live in an apartment.

I’m Lili ChiChi, a sweet 6 year old Chihuahua.

I was used for breeding so not the most socialized, but coming around slowly. I’m the kind of Chihuahua you can’t “rush”. I’ll come to you when I feel I can trust you!

However, I’m super cute, not barky and generally good with my foster siblings here.

I’m Oisin, age unknown but most likely Chihuahua mix.

I was rescued from the streets of Mexico after having been attacked by animals (probably cats) and left to die by the side of the road.

When I was found, the wounds had gotten really bad and I needed major surgery to remove the necrotized tissue.

I recuperated very well and was sent to Montreal for a chance at a real life in a home.

I’m super nice with other dogs, probably won’t mess with cats, and just want to be loved and cared for.

I’m Daisy Pug, as you guessed, I’m a Pug. I’m 6 years old and also a retired baby machine, but I’ll be getting spayed early September.

I’m super affectionate, great with other dogs and wonderful with kids. A little help in being fully house-trained is needed, as I have been living in a shed for the last little while.

All I want is a wonderful home who can put up with the grunting, especially when I get super excited! It’s not for everybody :)

I’m Charlotte, a 10 year old retired baby maker. I’m a Pug, so the snorting, grunting and snoring comes with the breed.

I’m super friendly, getting spayed very soon, and will be aiming for a great retirement.

I love kids, am great with dogs, and no issues with the cat in my foster home.

I’m house-trained, I’m able to stay alone, and I have no known issues.

I’m Jake, I’ll be two in November and I’m a Boston Terrier mix. I’m absolutely beautiful and super sweet.

I was living with babies and kids, an old dog and a cat. I’m an all around super friendly dude.

I can stay alone while you’re gone, I’m not a barker and generally a mellow dog. Info love to tear toys apart, but I don’t touch your stuff. That a plus!!

I’m Mia Huahua, you guessed right! I’m a Chihuahua. I’m a girl, 6 years old, and about 6 lbs.

I’m getting a dental as my mouth is a disaster, so if you’re looking to adopt me, you’ll need to brush whatever teeth I have left so my mouth never gets this bad again.

I’m very sweet, get along with other dogs, can stay alone and pee pad trained.

I’m Bali, a 7 year old male Chihuahua/Whippet mix and by no fault of mine, I need a new home as Mom was placed in a geriatric hospital.

I’m Max Chi, and you guessed it! I’m a Chihuahua and I’m three years old.

As many little dogs, I have luxation of the patella (very mild), and being a CKC stud, I’m longer good for reproduction and was sent to Sophie’s Dog Adoption, as the vet refused to euthanize me.

Sophie’s having me neutered soon, and I’m looking for a nice home where I’ll be loved for who I am, and not for the money I can make you.

I’m very skittish, never been outside and not really socialized, so a patient person/couple is what I need. I’m not sure if I’d be a fan of children, that would have to come with time.

I’ve been named Andie. You see, I was “found” in somebody’s yard as a stray, but nobody seems to be looking for me.

I was super neglected, but because of my hair, it’s been determined I’m most likely a Shih Tzu/Poodle mix.

I’m about 3 years old, a female and may have been used as a reproduction mom.

Now that I’m groomed, I’m feeling much better, enjoying the outdoors as well as being in a home. I think I’d do good with kids, I’m ok with other dogs and could probably learn to live with a cat.

I’m looking for someone to love me, but also someone who will learn, or pay someone, to groom me regularly. I don’t ever want that “rug” on my back.

I’ve been named Buddy Roamer, and here’s my story:

One morning early summer, I appeared on a farm outside of Montreal. It was a little odd that I wandered there during the night, but … Here I was, roaming around the property.

Posters were put up, notices on FB, vets were advised. No microchip. So after “moving season” and nobody claiming me, I ended up with Sophie’s Dog Adoption.

I’m about 7-8 months old and of possible Catahoula/Aussie mix. I presently weigh 60 lbs, so I will need an active family as I’m no couch potato!

If you’re looking for a teenage pup and want to go hiking, I’m the perfect partner! Be ready to exercise me so I don’t get restless while you’re out working. I want to be your forever partner!

I’m Barnaby, a 6 yr old Shih Tzu mix from Virginia.

I just arrived from a high kill pound, and I’m loving my new freedom.

I’ll be getting neutered soon, but I’m already friendly with all other dogs. Not at all dominant.

I’d probably be ok with well behaved kids, as I seem to like everybody I meet. I’m not a barker, so if you structure me well, I could probably live in an apartment.

Hello good folks of Canada! I’m DJ, a senior Yorkshire terrier mix who ended up at a high kill pound in Virginia.

While on a visit, a wonderful lady decided to bring me back to her homeland to give me a chance at life. My ages is estimated at about 11, but I may even be a little older.

That being said, I’m looking for a compassionate person to adopt me and give me a quiet home for my old days.

I’m a little stiff, arthritis, but other than that still very healthy. My eyes are not the greatest, but we really use our nose more that our eyes, so I’m totally fine.

Stairs, not a fan, so one story house or apartment with an elevator would be perfect.

I was named Prudence, yet used for reproduction all my life.

I’m a 9 year old, long haired Chihuahua who had many beautiful puppies before being retired. Unfortunately, these people who forced me to breed, also debarked me so nobody would hear me bark.

I’m very nervous, but calm and gentle. I’m being fostered where there are children, and I’m ok with them.

I’m very quiet, obviously, so ideal for apartment living. I’m pee pad trained, but also go outside. Leash walking needs some practice, but generally I’m a sweet girl willing to learn.

Retired doesn’t mean “old”, of have several good years in front of me. I may be the gal for you!

Ol’Barney

I’m Ol’Barney, a 10 year old Boston/Shih Tzu mix. I’m a big boy, weighing in at about 30 lbs.

Unfortunately I’ve had food allergies all my life, which caused major ear inflammation and as a result of never being treated, my ears are swollen, lumpy and completely closed up. I may even be deaf. I also carry my head to the side, again due to my untreated ear issues.

I’ll be going to the vet for the first time, where not only I’ll get neutered but we’ll see about my ears. Unfortunately, I don’t think they’ll get better. We just got to keep me in a good diet. No chicken, no grain.

I’m super sweet, good with other dogs, lived with a child and generally a good dog. Leash walking is a bit challenging as I was never taught and can get reactive towards other dogs.

I’m looking for a home for my last gre years where I’ll be getting what I need as I age. I’ll be your best friend, if you’ll have me!
