My name is Killua, but you might as well call me Kilowatt because I’m just bursting with energy! I’m small, but if you want a running companion I’m the dog for you.

I’m a two year old medium Spitz type. I’m

active, alert, intelligent, affectionate, playful and love treats. I’m especially good at fetch and tug-of-war.

I’m very friendly with both people and dogs. I love playing chase and wrestling with other dogs, but if I live with other dogs full-time I confess I’m going to annoy them by stealing their food and toys. 

All my coat needs is a weekly brushing but if you want to go all out and bathe and blow-dry me, I’m fine with that too. All attention is good attention! 

I love my walks and runs. These days I walk about 4 km/day and run in the dog park for about 45 minutes. If I could run even more I’d be even happier. My favourite way to live is to wear myself out then sleep for hours. 

I potty outside but I’m also paper trained. At first in a new home I might pick out my own little private spot in the house to do my business in peace. If that doesn’t work for you I’m quick to learn your preferences. I’ve had to go through a couple of homes so it can get confusing sometimes. 

Like I said, I’m alert and intelligent. If you leave me alone too long I’m going to get bored and get into things. I’ll bark at squirrels and random noises, and rummage around for things to chew. I particularly enjoy going through wastebaskets and laundry baskets. You can crate me, I’m totally fine with that. I’d prefer to have someone around to give me guidance and reassurance though. 

If you want to be my final home, I will love you forever! Kids or not, I’ll be happy with runs, attention and love.
