Blind Rocky B

I was named Rocky by my original rescuer in Beirut. I’m about 4 years old, and like many before me, I have a sad story that led me to be a good candidate to send to Canada.

You see, I lived in the streets, where nice ladies would pet me, feed me, and walk with me at their place of work.

One day, one of the nice ladies didn’t see me, so she went looking. To her horror, she realized I had been shot in the face with pellet guns and left to die.

She hurriedly got me to a vet, where my vision was too damaged to be saved. There is no way she was going to leave me in Lebanon, so she found a way to send me here.

I am honestly THE NICEST dog. I love everyone, I’m super quiet and calm. I don’t pull at all on a leash (need some guidance so I don’t bump into things, like parked cars) Oddly for a shepherd-x, I barely lose any fur!

The only time I get really excited is when I hear my leash when it’s time for a walk. I do this high-pitch bark. I just LOVE going for walks.

I go to our local dog park and I get around just fine off-leash (it’s a large wooded walkable area with paths).

I’ve figured out the layout of the foster home and go up and down stairs easily. I just need guidance until I find my bearings.

I am good with dogs of all sizes, cats, and kids! I basically love life and everyone in it!

If you think I’m a good candidate for you, put in your application! You will not regret it.
