I’m Kimba a.k.a KimKim a.k.a Kimbootcha, and I’m a sweet and friendly 5 year old AmStaff (pitbull).

I’m a big girl weighing in at 70 lbs, but very mellow.

I have no issues, other than occasional allergies (for which I occasionally need a cream).

I’m looking for a home as my 75yr old dad is selling the house and will not be able to take me with him.

I have been evaluated a few times as I originally came from a shelter, and then by Auberge Marmaduke, and I’ve always been given very good reports for my behaviour. I have never shown to be aggressive when around other dogs. In fact, at Marmaduke, they would usually leave all the dogs (between 20-30 dogs) outside at once, and I never had a single incident with other dogs. 

However, on leash can be a different story. I will growl at certain dogs, but not all of them. It can definitely be corrected, and I do respond well to someone who knows how to walk a dog properly. 

I’ve never aggressively pulled or bit the leash, but we should make it clear that I need an owner that can be confident and assertive when walking me.

I’m a real sweetheart. My only troublesome habit at home is I jump excitedly when guests come in, but that stops after about 1 minute when I’ve checked you out! 

I’m not at all posessive of my toys, bed or food. Zero aggression on that level. I’m generally quite cuddly and like to sit next to my people on the couch and get a lot of scratches. 

I have been around young kids (2 and 4) and enjoy them. But, they have to be nice to me!

I’m naturally sweet and cautious with kids. I let them play with me, and have never exhibited even a hint of aggression or even aversion towards them. Obviously it’s always been supervised but Dad always trusted me.

I’m hoping to find a wonderful new home and become a member of the family.
