I’m Nitro, and I’m a 2-year-old survivor of the streets of Lebanon.
I was shot in the front legs with pellet guns until I could no longer stand back in June 2021. Left for dead, I remained in the brutal heat for 10 days before I was rescued.
Not knowing if I could ever walk again, a team decided they would try different surgeries and rehabilitation to make me walk again.
After a year of surgeries, treatments, and rehabilitation, I can run and play like I should! I may not walk like others, but I am in no pain at all.
Having lived in a foster home back home, I got used to the “good” life. Couch, bed, love, food, and affection is what I’m looking for again!
You’ll have to learn how to integrate me, as I will want to protect you from “strangers” entering my new home!
Sophie’s Dog Adoption will help you get me started on the right (or left) foot!
I am energetic, great with dogs, love the presence of humans and would be fine with gentle kids over 12.
If you think you want to be my new family member, fill in that application form! You will not be sorry you did once you meet me.

The ban that prevents any more dogs like me to have a chance at the Canadian Dream is unfair.
