Tweety

I’m Tweety, and I’m a girl despite my name!  Someone chose it for me.

You see, I’m a dog rescued as a puppy from the streets of Lebanon. The family brought me home, raised me, and decided to give me a new life here in Canada. I loved growing up here!

But their new life became too “busy” with me in it, and after several months, came to the conclusion I needed a new home to “flourish” in.

I’m under 2 years old and most likely a Collie mix. I get along generally well with other dogs, but I do have a bit of resource guarding around other dogs.

I am friendly, affectionate, well behaved though some things need a bit of work like learning to walk well on leash.

If you think you have what it takes to be my FOREVER home, not just for a couple of years, put in your application.

To apply, visit http://www.sophiesdogadoption.com/application-forms/adoption-form/ and follow the procedure to obtain an application form.

  1. Hi!

We are very interested in Tweety. We are a retired couple couple who lost our fur baby of 14 years last spring. Before an application is submitted, could you please let me know Tweety is house trained? And her current weight? Would you know if she will be a very large dog? Is she friendly with children? We have grandchildren ages 7, 9 and 11. Thank you in advance.

    Regards
    Christine
