I’ve been named Alexander the Great little puppy!
I’m a 2 month old Great Dane, but I suffer from a condition called cerebellar ataxia. It’s a brain problem that prevents normal coordination to the limbs. The wires get crossed and I walk with a wobble. That means I will never walk normally.
However, it’s not severe, as I’m actually able to walk. The vet says that as I get stronger and my muscles develop, it may get a little better.
I will most likely not become a huge boy, but you have to realize I will still be a big boy. At 9 weeks old, I already weigh 15lbs.
I’m a great little pup, but being very young I need to learn everything. Wires and shoe laces are my favorite toy right now, so I need constant supervision. Like a toddler, if you do not see/hear me, go see what I’m up to.
I already know to get out of my bed to pee and poop, so within the next month I should have it all figured out. I don’t do stairs yet, so I’m looking for someone on a ground floor as I’ll start getting heavy. With my wobble, stairs might be challenging.
If you think you’d want to give me a chance as a wonderful home, please put in your application.
