I’m Rio, a 3 year old “morkie”, which is really a Yorkshire/Maltese mix.
I’m super sweet, but I don’t like being alone. I need either someone who can bring me places, another dog friend to keep me company, or someone who lives in a detached house where my whining won’t bother anyone.
Im a very friendly boy, cute as a button and ready for an active family.
I’m good with other dogs, kids, people. If you’d like to know me, put in your application.
I’ve been named Hinalani at the Hawaiian shelter that I came from.
I came to the shelter as my “human” was taken to jail. It was suspected I might not have actually belonged to him, but nobody ever claimed me so here I am.
I’m only 10 months old, but unfortunately not very popular so I was to be put down to make room for more.
An angel got me out here to Montreal for a chance at a new life, that will include snow! I can’t wait for that to arrive.
I’m good with everyone and everything. People, kids, cats, dogs….Need some work on leash walking and a little reminder for my bathroom needs, but so far so good.
If you think I could be your girl, put in that application and find out.

You guessed it! I’m a long haired chihuahua and I’m 8 years old. I am a male despite my name, Cookie Huahua.
I will be getting a full dental ASAP, so not sure how many teeth will be left. But I’ll be like a brand new puppy!!
I’ve been given up due to “allergies”, but my family kept my short haired “sister”. Go figure.
I can be a little barky, as most chihuahuas are, but mostly at noises or people coming in. I may therefore not be the best candidate for apartment living.
I’m learning to go outside for my business, as the pipi pads are hit or miss and I am learning very fast. Leash walking had never been a thing, so that will be a learning experience.
I’m super friendly once I know you, I’m just looking for a great family to love and cherish me forever.
I’m Banjo, the sweetest tripod puppy you’ll ever meet! My mix is a guess, I’d say I might get to 30lbs fully grown.
I’m 4 months old and missing a back leg due to an accident. But once amputated, I bounced right back!
I’m jumping, running, hopping and bouncing like a 4 legged pup!
I’m proving to be a very smart boy, already learning that we do our business outside.
I would love kids iny life, but right now I nibble with my teeth, so some work will be needed.
Everyone is going to want me, but THINK before you apply. I’m just a teeny thing, but so are my sharp little teeth. I’ll be losing those soon, then watch out for your furniture!!
I’m Marco Little, also known as Toshi and I’m a compassionate adoption as I need full time care. Someone needs to always be there to check on me. We don’t know my lifespan, but I’m full of life and don’t want to be euthanized, despite that being the recommendation.
I’m a 6 month old tiny Yorkshire, (-3lbs), and suffered brain damage at birth. I’m therefore unable to walk, or even hold myself up.
I went to see a neurologist, and this is their findings:
“One cannot tell the cause of Toshi neurological status. Keeping in mind that Toshi neurological status has not deteriorated since in the present foster home, inflammatory, neoplastic and degenerative causes are ruled out.
Congenital anomalies and traumatic event are both possible. If traumatic, the trauma occurred at the base of the skull because the main damage involves the brainstem.
However, one would expect involvement of cranial nerves II (optic nerves) and III (oculomotor nerves) bilaterally with such a lesion, these nerves being situated at this level in the brain.
Despite the history given by the breeder, congenital anomalies are possible.”
That being said, I definitely have a “joie de vivre” and love being cuddled, eating and just being near you.
I do need help with my bathroom habits as I cannot walk, and basically need someone with me all the time.
If you’re a full time care giver and want to add me to your life, I’ll be forever in your debt.
I’ve been named Deaja by my rescuers in Mexico. I’m about 5 years old, a female Terrier mix and under 25 lbs.
I was found along the road, having lived my life in the streets and forests of Playa del Carmen. I’m super sweet, but still a little nervous with all the changes.
Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with heartworm, but the treatments started right away, and I am still on it to make sure there is no possible proliferation. I should be free of them within the year.
I’m good with other dogs, learning to have an indoor routine, but I will need some time and patience. I think I would also enjoy having kids around to show me love and affection.
If you think I could be a good companion for you and your family, put in your application.
I’m Benito, a smallish 1 year old mix. I was found in the jungles of Playa del Carmen, but
since arriving in Montreal, I’m learning what it means to live in a home and trust people.
I can be a little unsure around new people at first, but once I warm up, my sweet, silly and playful personality shines through.
I love playing with other dogs! Because of my young age and playful energy, I may be a bit much for some older dogs but I really just want a buddy to play with.
I’m still adjusting to new surroundings and can sometimes get a little scared when things feel unfamiliar.
With patience and encouragement, I will continue to grow more confident every day.
If you adopt me, I will definitely keep your life full of – laughs, love, and adventure.
I’m Loulou Chi, a sweet and very healthy 10 year old Chihuahua mix (maybe with Boston).
I’m getting my teeth done next week as they’re really bad, not sure how many will be left, but I’ll feel like a million bucks!
I’m super chill and friendly, affectionate and quiet. I’m housetrained and can stay home alone. Zero separation anxiety.
I’ve shown no fear or signs of agression, so I’d probably be good with kids. Of course, it always depends on how they treat me.
I’m NOT a compassionate adoption despite my age, as I have many good years ahead of me, especially once my mouth is taken care of. That is the costly part of having rescued me.
My name is Ziggy, so now I’m Ziggy Chi. I’m a one year old Chihuahua, and unlike most of us, I’m am SUPER sweet and friendly. I look big, but I’m under 10 lbs.
My only fault right now is the marking, which is why I was given up. But Sophie’s going to take care of that March 10th.
I’m good with other dogs, not a barker, very affectionate and cuddly. I will most likely be very popular, as I’m such a good dog.
Kids, strangers, noises, nothing scares me. I could fit in any kind of home. If course some training will be necessary, but I’m very smart and pleasant to work with.
You know the drill, if you think I could be for you, don’t wait. Put in your application before anyone else!
I’m Jules, a beautiful 18 month old Golden Doodle.
I’m looking for a new home by no fault of mine. My family for was just not committed to giving me the life I deserve.
I just got groomed and I am stunning! I am getting neutered March 10th, so meanwhile, put in your application if you’re looking for a friendly dude like me. I suspect I will be popular.
I’m good with dogs, ok with cats, lived with a parrot and would probably enjoy older kids.
If you want a chance to meet me, you know the steps.
My name is Joy, and I was rescued from the streets of Cancun. It was pretty obvious this was not safe for me and an angel rescued me from that life. I’m barely a year old and deserve a loving home.
I’m loving, more like adoring. I am loyal from the start and love unconditionally, and while it’s obvious I’ve been disappointed before, it’s also clear I’m willing to give life another chance.
When I arrived at the shelter I was shy, hiding as far away as possible inside the crate… but it took less than a day for me to come out of my shell and start wagging my tail and looking at people with my sad eyes, full of love. They say I’m a little gem…
While loving and curious, I have a preference for women over men, and it takes me a bit longer to warm up to men…
I’m still quite shy because of the flight and change of weather, but I’m coming around.
If you’d like to know me, out in your application.
I’m Thunder Bolt , a 6 yr old Italian Greyhound. I recently got neutered and needed dental surgery to remove most of my teeth. I have zero upper teeth, so you’ll need to brush the teeth I have on the bottom, on order to keep them free of tartar.
I’m super cuddly and affectionate, I love Judy laying on your lap.
I’ve lived with cats in my previous life, so am easygoing cat would be fine. I’m also good with dogs, and kids are fine if they respect me.
My name is Italian Daisy, and I’m a 4 year old Italian Greyhound.
I’m looking for a new home with or without kids. I’m super friendly, affectionate and get along great with other dogs.
I lost most of my teeth after a dental cleaning, my teeth were horrendous. So you’ll need to brush the ones I have left to avoid going through that again.
If you know the breed and are looking for an active friend, I may be the one.
