Marco Little

I’m Marco Little, also known as Toshi and I’m a compassionate adoption as I need full time care. Someone needs to always be there to check on me. We don’t know my lifespan, but I’m full of life and don’t want to be euthanized, despite that being the recommendation.

I’m a 6 month old tiny Yorkshire, (-3lbs), and suffered brain damage at birth. I’m therefore unable to walk, or even hold myself up.

I went to see a neurologist, and this is their findings:

“One cannot tell the cause of Toshi neurological status. Keeping in mind that Toshi neurological status has not deteriorated since in the present foster home, inflammatory, neoplastic and degenerative causes are ruled out.

Congenital anomalies and traumatic event are both possible. If traumatic, the trauma occurred at the base of the skull because the main damage involves the brainstem.

However, one would expect involvement of cranial nerves II (optic nerves) and III (oculomotor nerves) bilaterally with such a lesion, these nerves being situated at this level in the brain.

Despite the history given by the breeder, congenital anomalies are possible.”

That being said, I definitely have a “joie de vivre” and love being cuddled, eating and just being near you.

I do need help with my bathroom habits as I cannot walk, and basically need someone with me all the time.

If you’re a full time care giver and want to add me to your life, I’ll be forever in your debt.
