I’m Ol’Barney, a 10 year old Boston/Shih Tzu mix. I’m a big boy, weighing in at about 30 lbs.

Unfortunately I’ve had food allergies all my life, which caused major ear inflammation and as a result of never being treated, my ears are swollen, lumpy and completely closed up. I may even be deaf. I also carry my head to the side, again due to my untreated ear issues.

I’ll be going to the vet for the first time, where not only I’ll get neutered but we’ll see about my ears. Unfortunately, I don’t think they’ll get better. We just got to keep me in a good diet. No chicken, no grain.

I’m super sweet, good with other dogs, lived with a child and generally a good dog. Leash walking is a bit challenging as I was never taught and can get reactive towards other dogs.

I’m looking for a home for my last gre years where I’ll be getting what I need as I age. I’ll be your best friend, if you’ll have me!
