I’m Gabby, and I just arrived from Mexico.
I’m about five years old and I weigh in at a sturdy and muscular 4.8 kilos/ 10½ pounds.
I descend from a distinguished line of Chihuahuas, and maybe a Dachshund? I have very long ears and a long body like a Dachshund; I’m very determined, courageous and greedy like a Dachshund; and I’m cuddly and affectionate like a Chihuahua.
Even though I have short legs I’m a great jumper! I can run upstairs and jump onto furniture and everything!
I can use a pee pad inside and I’m very tidy, but I need to go outside and work out my energy. Can you take me for walks every day please? I’m great on a leash and I’m enthusiastic about exercise.
Being from Mexico, I find your weather here a little shocking to me. I like wearing warm clothes and sleeping in warm places, like snuggled up against you in bed.
I’m very confident and I love people, even children. I’m okay with cats and with small dogs I live with. Large strange dogs on the sidewalk… not so much. They should stay away and I’ll tell them so.
If you can entertain an active young dog and keep me busy, we’re going to have a wonderful life together!
