I’m Sophie’s latest arrival, Baiba. I got lucky when Sophie showed up at her vet where I had just been taken to be euthanized because of an imaginary skin rash. My doctor having followed me for the last five years confirmed that I have no health issues but my caregiver is very very very old. So my doctor decided he would turn me over to Sophie as he would never euthanize a healthy girl like me.

We’re not sure what I am, definitely some Shih-tzu but with a dinky little tail and about 20 pounds. For sure I’m a little overweight right now but even at that I’m bigger than a typical Shih-tzu.  Even tough I’m only five years old, I act more like an older dog – I guess that comes with living with someone very very very old.

I would see myself with kids, dogs, cats, grandmas or younger folks. Pretty much anything will suit me as long as you love me.image

Je suis la dernière arrivée de Sophie, Baiba. J’ai eue la chance que Sophie aille chez son vet car je venais d’arriver pour être euthanasiée à cause d’un problème de peau imaginaire.  Mon docteur qui m’a suivi depuis les 5 dernières années  a confirmé que je n’avais pas de problème de santé, mais mon ancienne maitresse était très très vieille.  Donc mon docteur a décidé de m’envoyer avec Sophie car jamais il ne ferait l’euthanasie d’une fille en santé comme moi.

On ne sait pas vraiment ce que je suis, définitivement du Shih-Tzu mais avec une toute petite queue et pesant environs 20 lbs. Je suis un peu toutoune maintenant mais je suis quand-même plus grosse qu’un Shih-Tzu typique.  Même si je n’ai que cinq ans, j’agis comme un chien plus vieux – ça doit venir d’avoir vécu avec quelqu’un de très très vieux.

Je me verrais avec des enfants, chiens, chats, grandparents ou jeunes adultes. Pas mal n’importe quel environnement me conviendrais en autant que vous m’aimez.

I’m Kiki! I’m looking for a new home and hopefully a new name. I’m a two year old Schnauzer / Maltese but I didn’t look like much until my new haircut.

I have very few bad habits, one is that I was trained on peepee pads and the other is I became quite barky. I used to live with 4 other little dogs and everybody barked and ran around and we really had no structure.

I am however proving to be a quick learner and would probably do best if I’m the only dog. The reason for that is I can pick up or show bad habits as I get easily distracted, alone I would learn faster.

If you love doggy kisses, then I’m your man.

I get along with pretty much everything and everyone, I’m just a happy go lucky little dog who needs a stable and loving home.

My name is Chaos and I guess it’s due to my energy level as a young pup. However I am no young pup, but in fact a senior dog. I’m actually 10 years old and still very healthy and quite active. You could say the name still suits me. My story is sad, I was kicked out of my house because a baby was born and mom decided she didn’t want any drool or hair or traces of my presence in sight. I have a huge mass on one of my knees that Sophie had asked my family to have removed, but because it’s esthetic, not a health issue and could not be done at the time of sterilization (yea I was just now neutered), they did not want to spend the $500 dollars on what they considered unnecessary. So if money can be raised Sophie will have it removed, if not I may have it for the rest of my life. I’m good with other dogs, NOT good with cats and quite strong and would probably knock children over. However I’m not at all aggressive, I’m all about affection, love and kisses. I may be ten but healthy as I am, I could very well live into my teens.

Not much is known about me, but one thing for sure is I’m a fighter. That’s why I’ve been named Boadicea, I was pulled off death row from one of these horrible gas chambers and have vowed to fight back and survive. I’m probably about three years old and definitely a mutt, your guess is as good as anyone else’s.

So far I’ve proven to be a great gal, well behaved, quick learner and very friendly. I’m good with other dogs, and would probably do well with kids.

I’m now looking for a castle to move into and I would love to share it with you.

My name is Charlemagne and I’m a wonderful two year old mutt. The guess would be westie mix but it’s really just a guess. What I can tell you about me is that I love kids, love dogs, have no issues with cats, not barky, and just all around loving. My foster home describes be as flawless. I would adapt to pretty much any kind of new environment or home. I weight around 20lbs, I’m non shedding and I could enjoy an active life or a mellow one, you pick me and I’ll adapt to your lifestyle. All I want is to love and be loved. Doesn’t my cute face make you melt?

Mon nom est Charlemagne et je suis un merveilleux petit mélange de deux ans. On pense probablement Westie croisé, mais ce n’est qu’une supposition. Ce que je peux vous dire est que j’adore les enfants, j’adore les chiens et aucun problème avec les chats, pas jappeux et tout simplement adorable.  Ma famille d’accueil me décrit comme n’ayant aucun défaut. Je m’adapterais à pas mal n’importe quel genre d’environnement et foyer. Je pèse environs 20lbs, je ne perd pas mon poil et pourrait avoir une vie très active ou très tranquille, vous choisissez et je m’adapterai à votre style de vie. Tout ce que je veux est aimer et être aimé.,  Ma petite face toute cute ne vous fait pas fondre?

I have a new name, Nusumareta and I’m looking for a new home. I’m probably around six years old and it’s obvious I spent my life tied outside.

I’m a big boy, low energy but I’m hoping to get strength and be able to live an active life. So far I’ve shown that I’m good with other dogs and a big teddy bear. I’m looking for the comfort of a home with a dog bed, dog toys and regular healthy meals.

J’ai un nouveau nom,  Nusumareta et je me cherche une nouvelle famille. J’ai environs 6 ans et il est évident que j’ai passé ma vie attaché dehors.

Je suis un gros garçon, pas très énergétique, mais j’espère retrouver la force et pouvoir vivre une vie active. My name is Doby but they might as well called me Tubby. I am a two year old, fat miniature pinscher who has never lived away from my sister Lola 5. We arrived here together with specific issues as we were “tied to the hip”. Being so dependent on my sister, Sophie decided that it’s time I learn how to be my own dog and be independent, so she split us up.

I’m looking for someone who can structure me, socialize me, give me a sense of security and devote their time and affection into helping me have a normal, stable and happy life.

My issues are mainly with strangers and new environments. Another dog to learn from would be beneficial.image
Mon nom est Doby mais on pourrait bien m’apeller Tubby. Je suis un Pinscher Miniature grasset, de deux ans qui n’a jamais vécu sans ma soeur Lola 5. Nous sommes arrivés ensemble avec des problèmes spécifiques car nous étions toujours collés ensembles.  Étant si dépendant de ma soeur, Sophie a décidée qu’il était temps que j’apprenne a devenir indépendant, donc elle nous a séparé.

Je cherche quelqu’un qui pourra me structurer, me donner un sens de sécurité et voudra dévouer leur temps et affection pour m’aider à avoir une vie normale, heureuse et stable.

Mes inquiétudes sont surtout envers les étrangers et nouveaux environnements. Un autre chien avec moi serait bénéfique.

My name is Lola 5 and I’m Doby’s sister. I’m two years old and much smaller than my brother. You see I’m a bit of a finicky eater and he’s a bit of glutton.

We’ve been separated because Doby was learning bad habits from me, such as barking at people. I’m a bit more weary of people, but once I get to know them I’m quite friendly.

What I’m looking for is someone who can structure me so I can learn to be independent and feel secure.

Mon nom est Lola 5 et je suis la soeur de Doby. J’ai deux ans et beaucoup plus petite que mon frère. Je suis un peu difficile pour la nourriture, et lui est plutôt glouton.

Nous avons été séparé parce que Doby apprenait de mauvaises habitudes avec moi, tel que japper après le monde.  Je suis un peu craintive des gens, mais quand je les connais, je deviens assez amicale.

I have one eye, a new name and a new life up ahead. I’m Giuseppe, a friendly, two year old one eyed Chihuahua who would fit in with pretty much any kind of home.

I have a little bit of that Chihuahua barky side, but I’m not at all aggressive with anyone. I’m just a happy go lucky bouncy little thing who would love to cuddle and snuggle with you.

Je n’ai qu’un oeil, j’ai un nouveau nom et une nouvelle vie qui m’attend. Je suis Giuseppe, un gentil Chihuahua borgne, âgé de deux ans qui serait bien dans n’importe quel genre de foyer.

I am Henry II, and I am very majestic looking. I am a 2 year old Pekingese with the attitude of a King! You see, I am beautiful and as a puppy, everything I did was cute and I soon learned to rule my Kingdom.

Now my family has a baby, and that baby crawling into my space makes me very uncomfortable and grouchy. I have been known to protect my castle by barking, nipping and basically refusing entry to anyone not from my Kingdom and that has made my family very nervous that I will some day bite their new little prince.

I have been at Sophie’s and am learning to be challenged and boy, does one need patience. You back down and I win, that’s how I always got my way before. It seems that life is in the past and I’m looking for a new life as an average, well-behaved canine citizen. No more acting like Royalty, and you know what, it ain’t so bad after all.

So if you’re single or a couple, very structured and disciplined, patient and willing to work with me, I will make the best friend ever. Once I take my armor off, I am a real charmer. Cuddly, affectionate, loving and just a joy to have around. One thing you have to realize though, is that to look this good you have to groom me regularly. I am hoping to keep my beautiful, long coat as it’s part of my charm!

Je suis Henry II, et j’ai un air très majestueux. Je suis un Pékignois de 2 ans avec l’attitude d’un Roi! Voyez-vous je suis superbe et étant chiot, tout ce que je faisais était cute et j’ai vite appris à contrôler mon Royaume.

Maintenant ma famille a un nouveau bébé, et ce bébé qui rampe dans mon espace me rend très inconfortable et grincheux. Je protège régulièrement mon chateau en jappant, mordant et finalement en refusant l’accès à quiconque n’est pas de mon Royaume et cela rend ma famille très nerveuse et inquiète qu’un jour je morde leur petit prince.

Je suis maintenat chez Sophie et j’apprend à être défié et ‘boy”, la personne doit avoir de la patience. Vous reculez et je gagne, c’est toujours de cette facon que j’ai toujours gagné dans le passé. Il semble que cette vie est du passé et je cherche a commencer une nouvelle vie comme un citoyen canin bien élevé, moyen. Fini de jouer au Roi, et vous savez quoi, ce n’est pas si pire après tout.

Donc si vous êtes célibataire ou un couple, très structuré et discipliné, patient et près a travailler avec moi, je serais votre meilleur ami. Une fois que j’enlève mon armure, je suis un vrai charmeur. Colleux, affectueux, aimant et simplement une joie dans votre vie. Une chose que vous devez réaliser par contre, c’est que pour avoir l’air si beau vous devez me toiletter régulièrement. J’espère garder ma belle, longue chevelure car elle fait partie de mon charme!

I am Ziggy Stardust, a 6 year old Shih-Tzu mix who is now looking for a new home. My family has given me up due to a move and lack of time to care for me now that the kids are grown up….

I am very sweet, great with everyone, kids, cats, other dogs, but I do have a little anxiety that needs to be worked on.  If  you structure me, I can turn into the perfect little pal. I have lived with kids, so a family would be nice, but a nice older couple or person would be fine too.

I can be active if you would like me to, or I can be mellow and sit by you.  You pick and we’ll do! I’m a people pleaser, that’s what makes me happy!

Je suis Ziggy Stardust, un croisé Shih-Tzu de 6 ans qui se cherche maintenant  un nouveau foyer.  Ma famille m’a donné à cause d’un déménagement et d’un manque de temps pour moi maintenant que les enfants ont grandis….

Je suis très gentil, super avec tout le monde, enfants, chats, autres chiens, mais j’ai un peu d’anxiété qui devra être travaillé.  Si vous me structurez. je peux devenir un petit copain parfait.  J’ai vécu avec des enfants, donc une famille serait agréable, mais un gentil couple ou personne agée serait bien aussi.

Je peux être actif, ou si vous préférez, je peux être tranquille et rester assis avec vous.  A vous de décider, pas de problème!  Je ne veut que faire plaisir, c’est ce qui me rend heureux!

I’m Brielle, Fynn’s little sister.  I’m actually the first born on that beautiful June 19, 2012, but turned out to be much smaller than my brother.  I’m not sure we have the same dad, as I look nothing like him, nor Mom.

Right now I’m very fuzzy looking, but have very soft hair.  Unlike Fynn, I am beige with the tips of my hair black.  I kind of look like a Shih-Tzu but we’ll see as I get older.

I’m a girl, and very girly.  Not at all like Fynn who’s feisty and tough in his play, I am mellow, sweet and loving.  I want to hug and kiss as much as you’ll let me. I love to play with my brother and the foster surrogate dads, but I also like to just cuddle.

I am not as assertive as my brother, I am delicate and get surprised easily.  We are definitely very different.  I should be a very submissive little girl as I get older, I would be great with a family who has kids. Other pets would be fun too. Whoever decides to adopt me will certainly be a lucky person or family.

Je suis Brielle, la petite soeur de Fynn.  Je suis en fait la première née cette belle journée du 19 juin 2012, mais je suis beaucoup plus petite que mon frère. Je ne suis pas certaine d’avoir le même père que lui, car je ne lui ressemble pas du tout, ni à Maman.

Pour le molment, je suis ébouriffée mais j’ai un poil très doux.  Contrairement à Fynn, je suis beige avec le bout des poils noir. Je ressemble principalement à un Shih-Tzu mais on verra quand je grandirais.

Je suis une fille, et très féminine. Pas du tout comme Fynn qui joue dur et dominant, moi je suis douce, tranquille et aimante. Je veux me coller et donner des becs autant que vous me laisserez. J’adore jouer avec mon frère et mes pères adoptifs, mais j’aime aussi juste me coller.

Je ne suis pas sûre de moi comme mon frère, je suis délicate et facilement surprise.  Nous sommes définitivement très différent. Je devrais devenir une petite chienne soumise en vieillissant, et je serai bien avec une famille qui a des enfants. Des autres animaux serait le fun aussi. Quiconque décidera de m’adopter sera certainement une personne ou famille chanceuse.

I was named Fynn by my foster home.  Brielle and I are siblings, we are Kuujjua’s puppies who were born on June 19, 2012.  It is suspected that we have different fathers.

I was the second born, but the biggest (we lost a brother) and quadrupled in size the first few days.  My father is a mystery, but many options were considered. Possibly St-Bernard, Great Pyrenees, but now it is thought I may have some Petit Basset Griffon Vandeen.  You see, mom was a street dog in Kuujjuarapik, and there are all kinds of pups sold in petshops there too, except we all live outside and there are NO vets out there.  So dad could really be anything, but I have sort of wiry hair, very long ears, very short legs and just cute as a button.  So regardless of my dad’s background, we know Mom was a Shih-Tzu/Bichon mix and I’m certainly going to outgrow her.

I am very mature, teeth came out early, I’m already able to get sterilized (yup at barely 9 weeks), and already have a sense of what life is about.  I can be a little feisty, certainly from generations of dogs fending for themselves, so I’ll need a family with knowledge and experience in order not to turn me into a spoiled little devil.

I am adorable though, so don’t let my cute looks fool you into thinking I’m the dude for you.  Think it through, I may be a handful as I grow up!! But I am totally lovable, that’s for damn sure!

Je suis très mature, les dents sont sorties tôt, je suis déjà prêt à être stérilisé (oui, a peine 9 semaines), et j’ai déjà une idée de ce qu’est la vie.  Je peux être un peu dominant, certainement causé par des générations de chiens qui doivent se défendre, donc j’aurais besoin d’une famille avec des connaissances et expérience de façon à ne pas faire de moi un petit démon gâté.

Je suis mignon, mais ne laissez pas mon charme vous faire croire que je suis le gars pour vous. Je peux devenir difficile en grandissant!!  Il est certain que je suis adorable, mais pensez-y bien!

My name’s Bucky but they call me Cowboy!  I’m a bit of a cowboy when it comes to other dogs.  You see I was bounced and sometimes missed several meals, so if you’re a dog, you’d better not approach when I’m eating or I’ll pin you down!  However, I trust that humans will not take away what they gave me, so no protection towards my stuff with people.

I am about 1 year and a half, and already had 4 homes.  So my 5th better be my last, as I want to finally settle down.  After all, I like girl dogs quite a bit, so a nice lady friend would make my life sweet! Right now I’m pretty macho, so males – need to check that out some more.

As all pitbulls, I am VERY sweet with humans, once I learn some good manners (and I’m very eager to please), I would probably love having kids to play with and protect.  All in all, I need to be socialized with other dogs, taught some basics, learn to be a well-balanced boy, but most of all a stable and structured environment.

Give me a chance to show you my potential, all I need is love, patience, understanding and commitment and I will be forever grateful.image

Mon nom est Bucky mais on m’apelle Cowboy!  Je suis un peu cowboy quand je rencontre d’autres chiens.  Vous voyez j’ai eue plusieurs foyers et manqués plusieurs repas, donc si vous êtes un chien, vous êtes mieux de ne pas approcher quand je mange ou je vous “pinnerais” au sol! Par contre, je fais totalement confiance aux humains qui ne prendront pas ce qu’ils m’ont donné, donc aucune protection de mes choses avec les gens.

J’ai environs 1 an et demi, et j’ai déjà eu 4 familles. Donc ma 5e ferait mieux d’être la dernière, car je veux enfin me bâtir une famille.  Après tout, j’aime les femelles, donc une belle petite chienne pourrait rendre ma vie rose! Présentement je suis pas mal macho, donc les mâles – à vérifier un peu plus pour l’instant.

Comme tous les pitbulls, je suis TRÈS gentil avec les humains, une fois que j’aurai appris de bonne manières (et je suis très prêt a faire plaisir), j’aimerai probablement avoir des enfants autour de moi pour jouer et protéger. Au fond, j’ai besoin d’être socialisé avec d’autres chiens, qu’on me montre des choses de base, apprendre à devernir un garçon bien ajusté, mais surtout avec un environnement stable et structuré.

Donnez-moi la chance de vous montrer mon potentiel, tout ce dont j’ai besoin est de l’amour, de la patience, de la compréhension et du dévouement et je serais a tout jamais reconnaissant.

My family was not very original when they named me, I’m a Pug and my name is Puggy!  Yup, you heard right, Puggy!

I ab about 7 years old, and was originally adopted from the SPCA at the age of 2.  I lived with an older gentleman and we had a wonderful life.  However, he got older and passed away, and nobody in the family wanted me.  Why I don’t know, as I really am a sweet dog.  But I guess I was part of the goods that no one wanted.  Sometimes I wish I had been a marble table or crystal chandelier. But hey, that’s life.

So here I am, a little grumpy at times and a dude with character, but nice as can be and a typical pug, with all the grunts and noises.  Of course at my age, future health concerns might be something to think about before deciding I’m the guy for you, as we are known for not being the healthiest as we age.

I get along with other dogs and cats, but I can also be a little bossy with dogs who bug me. My foster home has actually nicknamed me Gino as she thinks I remind her of a Gino – boxer type dude!  My personality will definitely charm you.  So if you think I’m the guy for you, you know what to do.

Ma famille n’était pas très originale quand ils m’ont nommé, je suis un Pug et je m’apelle Puggy!  Oui, vous avez bien compris, Puggy!

J’ai environs 7 ans, et j’ai été adopté originalement à la SPCA à l’âge de 2 ans.  Je vivais avec un monsieur âgé et nous avions une super petite vie. Malheureusement il a continué de vieillir et quand il est décédé, personne dans la famille n’a voulu de moi.  Pourquoi je ne sais pas, car je suis vraiment un gentil chien.  Mais je devine que je faisais parti des biens que personne ne voulais.  Parfois je souhaite avoir été une table en marbre ou un chandelier de crystal. Mais bon, c’est ça la vie.

Donc je me retrouve ici, un peu grincheux parfois et un gars avec du caractère, mais gentil comme tout et un Pug typique avec tous les bruits et sons accompagnant.  Bien sûr à mon âge, des problèmes de santé futurs sont à considérer avant de décider que je suis le gars pour vous, car nous sommes reconnus comme étant des chiens qui ne vieillissent pas toujours bien.

Je m’entends bien avec les autres chiens et chats, mais je peux aussi être un peu boss avec les chiens qui me dérangent. Ma famille d’accueil m’a d’ailleurs surnommé Gino car elle trouve que je ressemble à un Gino – le genre de gars qui fait de la boxe! Ma personalité vous charmera certainement par contre.  Donc si vous pensez que je suis le gars pour vous, vous savez quoi faire.

My name is Shad-Eau, and I am a 5 year old Portuguese Water Dog.  I just arrived at Sophie’s recently due to my behaviour that the family couldn’t cope with.  You see, I was pretty much babied since puppyhood, and have become very protective of my home and family.

At first they thought it was great, but 5 years later, it’s not so great anymore as I have become overprotective since a baby has come into the house.  In my home, I’m fine, out on the street – you’d better not step into my space as I will react.  Have never bit, but my family didn’t want to take a chance and didn’t know how to deal with this.

What Sophie saw right away is I’m a very insecure dog, and not a whole lot of structure.  So I need someone with lots of experience in bringing me around to become independent, feel secure and safe and realize who’s in charge of protecting me, not me in charge of protecting my family.

I have a few quirks that need to be addressed, but with the right family/person, I will flourish.  I do come from a CKC breeder, unfortunately she is out of business and not much is known on me, but I think I was the last born…. I certainly was the last sold, I was about 5 months when I left the nest to fly on my own, and I was already very scared and insecure.

So someone with experience, patience, and who really wants me for me and not because of my breed, is what I’m looking for.  I want this home to be my second and last one. After all, don’t they say only puppymill dogs are given up? I’m the proof that no matter where you buy a puppy, how much you pay for the puppy, what papers the puppy has or doesn’t have is soooo irrelevant.   You have to look at dog before breed.  Think it through before putting in an application!

Je suis Shad-Eau, et je suis un Chien d’Eau Portuguais de 5 ans. Je suis arrivé chez Sophie récemment à cause de mon comportement, et ma famille n’en pouvait plus. Vous voyez, on m’a traité comme un bébé depuis que je suis chiot, et je suis devenu très protecteur de ma maison et famille.

En premier il trouvait ça génial, mais 5 ans plus tard, ce n’est plus si génial car je suis devenu surprotecteur depuis qu’un bébé est arrivé à la maison. Dans la maison ça va bien, mais dans la rue – vous êtes mieux de ne pas approcher trop car je réagi. Je n’ai jamais mordu, mais ma famille ne voulait pas prendre de chance et ne savait pas comment travailler avec moi.

Ce que Sophie a vue tout de suite est que je suis un chien très insécure, et avec peu de structure. Donc j’ai besoin de quelqu’un avec de l’expérience pour me rendre indépendant, en sécurité et me faire réaliser qui est en charge de me protéger, non moi qui doit protéger ma famille.

J’ai quelques petites habitudes à travailler, mais avec la bonne personne/famille, je m’épanouirai.  Je viens d’un éleveur CKC, malheureusement elle n’est plus en affaire donc pas grand chose de connu sur mon passé, mais j’avais environs 5 mois quand je suis parti voler de mes propres ailes, et j’étais déjà très nerveux et insécure.

Donc quelqu’un avec de l’expérience, de la patience et qui me veut vraiment pour moi et non pour ma race, est ce que je cherche. Je veux que ce foyer soit mon deuxième et dernier. Après tout, ne disent-ils pas que seulement les chiens d’usines à chiots se font abandonner? Je suis la preuve que peu importe l’endroit, le prix ou les papiers qui accompagnent un chien ne veut absolument rien dire. Vous devez regarder le chien avant la race. Pensez-y sérieusement avant de mettre une demande d’adoption pour moi!

I am Pax 2, and I am the most charming 5 year old, 3-legged Chocolate Lab you will ever meet.

I lost my leg about a year ago, it had gotten broken in 3 places and the vets did an awful job in repairing it, so in the end I lost it. However, I get along very well, can really run at the dog park, have learned to go up and down stairs and have adapted quickly. Of course, I’m not up to a 2 hour hike in the woods, but slow, nice long walks are good.

My family moved away and left me with a family member to find me a home, but she was unable due to the fact I only have 3 legs. I guess she wasn’t looking in the right place as I know Sophie’s had many handicapped dogs, and they find a home just like any others. The fact I’m missing a leg is not even that noticeable and hey, if I’m used to it, you will get used to it too.

I have not lost my sense of humor, I love to play with other dogs, want to cuddle and get as well as receive, some love and affection. I am also good with kids and babies, so pretty much any kind of family would be great as long as you’re not looking for a biking partner!

Because of my missing leg, I have to stay at a good healthy body weight, but if you keep me fit and trim, the other leg should not give out.

Je suis Pax 2, et le plus charmant des Labradors Chocolat de 5 ans, à 3 pattes que vous ayez jamais rencontré.

J’ai perdu ma patte il y a environs un an, elle avait été cassée a trois endroits et les vétérinaires ont fait une très mauvaise job en réparant, donc au bout de la ligne, j’ai perdu ma patte. Par contre, je fonctionne très bien, je peux courir et m’amuser au parc à chiens, j’ai appris a monter et descendre les escaliers et me suis adapté très vite. Bien sûr, je ne peux pas me promener pendant 2 heures dans la forêt, mais une longue promenade tranquille, pas de problème.

Ma famille a déménagé et m’ont laissé avec un membre de la famille pour me trouver une nouvelle maison, mais elle a été incapable dû au fait que je n’ai que 3 pattes. Je suppose qu’elle ne cherchait pas à la bonne place car je sais que Sophie a eue plusieurs chiens handicappés, et ils trouvent une famille, tout comme les autres. Le fait qu’il me manque une patte n’est même pas si évident que ça, et si j’ai pu m’habituer, vous aussi vous y habituerez.

Je n’ai pas perdu mon sens de l’humour, j’adore jouer avec les autres chiens, veut me coller et donner autant que recevoir, de l’amour et de l’affection. Je suis aussi doux avec les enfants et les bébés, donc pas mal n’importe quel genre de famille serait bien, tant que vous ne cherchez pas un compagnon pour faire de la bicyclette!

A cause de ma patte manquante, je doit rester a un poids santé, donc si vous me gardez en forme, l’autre patte ne devrait pas subir de conséquences!

I have been renamed Madison, or Maddie for short.  I am a really sweet little Bichon Frisé who spent my life in a puppymill popping out puppies for profit.

Unfortunately here I am at the age of 5, and I was dumped as I was costing more money than the mill wanted to spend on me.  You see I have what seems to be allergies, probably to food, but nothing officially has been ruled out.  Also my teeth were so bad, Sophie had to do dental work and I lost not only all but 3 of my teeth, but my gums were literally split open from living with these bad teeth for so long.

I am a little skittish around women, I tend to prefer men, but still weary of strangers at first.

I’m a tiny little thing, about 8 lbs or so, and would love nothing more than a wonderful home who will do what it takes to make me healthy, comfortable and happy for the rest of my life.

On m’a renommée Madison, ou Maddie.  Je suis une super gentille Bichon Frisé qui a passée ma vie dans une usine à chiots a faire des bébés pour le profit.

Malheureusement, je suis rendue à l’âge de 5 ans, et j’ai été abandonné car je coutais plus d’argent que l’usine voulait dépenser pour moi.  Vous voyez je semble avoir des allergies, probablement à la nourriture, mais rien n’a officiellement été déterminé encore.  J’avais les dents tellement pourries que Sophie a dû faire un détartrage et j’ai perdue toute mes dents sauf trois, et mes gencives étaient litérallement ouvertes à cause de mes dents si maganées.

Je suis un peu nerveuse envers les femmes, j’ai tendence à préférer les hommes, mais je suis un peu inquiète avec tous les étrangers au début.

Je suis une toute petite chienne, environs 8 lbs, et je ne voudrais rien de plus qu’un foyer qui me donnera tout ce dont j’ai besoin autant pour ma santé, mon confort et me rendre heureuse le reste de mes jours.
